Two friends, One vision

Mereen studio was a long-standing dream conjured by Megan and Ambreen on a park bench almost 7 years ago. What once was simply an earnest wish, is now reality.

Megan is a faceter and co-owner/co-designer at Mereen Studio. As an artist and maker, she approaches each stone with a deep reverence for its natural beauty. Her process for gem-cutting and designing jewelry remains singularly guided by the principle of not trying to improve what nature has created but revealing and honoring the beauty that’s always been there.

Ambreen is the co-owner/co-designer at Mereen studio. She has worked in fine jewelry for 6 years and believes jewelry to be an extension of oneself, a tool for self-expression more robust than clothes, which change every day. She hopes to create heirlooms that mean as much to you as the person you pass it down to.

Our Philosophy

We believe jewelry leaves imprints as it travels from concept to completion. So we’ve made careful choices with the designs, gemstones we work with and the people who work with us. Most of our work is done locally by skilled jewelers in the Seattle area. We work with gems Megan has faceted or Ambreen has sourced from trusted partners within the US. Our designs are rooted in simplicity of form but hidden details make them rich and flavorful. We aim to create wonder where you might not expect it.
